We are recruiting for an Assembly Assistant to join the business on a permanent contract.

This is a dayshift position working Monday to Friday.
The Role
As the Assembly Assistant you will be operating the robotic assembly machines, which is simply perform simple tasks, supervise the operation, correct small assembly errors and report problems to their supervisor. You will also be responsible for other tasks within the facility which will be added as your training progresses.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Assembly Assistant your duties will include:
- Operating machinery
- Performing assembly tasks
- Ensuring all errors and reported and rectified
- Packing products in boxes and pallets
- Ensuring the production area is kept clean and free of hazards
- Various other duties and responsibilities
Requirements
To be considered for the Assembly Assistant you will require the following:
- Strong work ethic and commitment
- Desire to learn and develop through the business
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Physically fit and healthy
- Trustworthy
- Able to provide 2 references and attend a face to face interview before being submitted for the position
